Dear Mr Bishop
All the best for your voyage to WCI. Even though you won't be here.
It's been a pretty cool semester, with all your crazy stories and ideas.
Anyways, seeya.

Day 17
It is Monday today. I made and printed my mini-me. I also put together a sample board, if you can call it that. My model is pretty much done, just some final things. Otherwise all of the aspects of my project have been put into a hard copy portfolio.

Day 16?
I am going to make sure my whole physical portfolio is done by Monday.
I have already handed in some sketches (I plan to do more) and I have the blog done, but I am going to get everything collected.
So the PLANS (ie what would have happened) is all in this blog. My hopes and dreams and the like.
I am going to make a compartment to hold the elevator and counterweight. It'll be 28 cm high, and-if the elevator is 3.6 cm- about 8 cm across. That'll make for 15ish shafts.
The original plan.
aww yee.
There will be the elevator peopleholder and a counterweight (would be 40% of the weight). At the top of the shaft in the centre, there will be a platform sticking out that holds the gears and such.
I also, if time allows, try one that uses a screw pillar.

Day 14
LAST POST.
Do dooooooooooooo.
do dooooooooooooo.
do do dundun do do dooo do do do.
da dun do dandundo dandundo dandundodo dandundo dandandundundandando.
Well... today I want to figure out how i would cut out the shape for the ramp so that it doesn't tilt. The final shape will be a circle with the correct chunk taken out.
I don't know if i'll have to compensate the tilt by making a different shape.
Wow, how helpful.
SEACREST OUT.

Day 13
Today we are going to the Tech room.
I will try to begin the ramps in this time, drawing/mathing/building.
They will be made out of the sheet stuff that you, Mr Bishop, have provided.
I think.
By starting across from the finish (this is regarding the ramp), I believe that the incline will be managable for the general population.
There will be, as before, 1 ramp from floor to 2nd, and 1 ramp from 2nd to 3rd. Hopefully, they will start and end beside each other on the 2nd level, for convenience's sake.
I'm not sure if that's how you spell that saying.
SO that is my goal for today. Ramps.
If a person is 1/2 m wide (accounting for a small personal bubble), the ramp should be able to fit 10 people walking beside each other.
So, a 5 m width. Or 5 cm.
Then there's also the angular roof, and some short railings for liability reasons.
5 m also compensates for any movement of large items.
I think that I want the ramps to be a semicircle. For the general looks.
From the top, it'll look like kinda an... O. Like an O.
I built up to that because for some reason I thought it would be a cool, obscure shape.
Ah well.
I'm outta here.
