So my contribution thus far has been 95% cerebral, 3% crappy drawings, 4% other stuff.
I realize I do not know how to build things.

This post is mainly the result of heat.
The elevators seem to be the bane of my tech existance. They are necessary, but so devilishly difficult.
Well, maybe they aren't, but I don't know what would work, so I try to keep it 'simple' while balancing some kind of wannabe art.
The sphere could be a good idea.
