I tried to use Softplan.
I couldn't, so I moved on to Autocad.
Which didn't work out, so I tried Illustrator.
Which can't give me a 3D elevator.
So my drawing will have to be a drawing, and my model will be my trial.
I am fairly confident in my ability to make a ramp once the model comes into being.
The 'entrance' to the model I think will be pillars, keeping with the new theme.
They will also provide support for the ramp.
The interior of the elevator will be seating, around the interior circumference. The floor of the sphere will be flattened, for the basic idea that you can't stand in a sphere.
The sphere will be mostly glass, as well as ...metal. Nice, materialy seating, and bus-like feeling, because it really is replacing public transport.
If the floor was flattened, the height would still have to be about 2 m.
I don't think industrial elevators are needed (unless there's a central one) due to the shortness of the ramps.
